By general definition green therapy is a technique which uses outdoor spaces and nature to improve one’s well-being. In 2017, while reflecting on my work over the past few years, I found many portraits, landscapes and still-life images that favored the color green.

Sitting with these images that year made me reflect on the days I made them and how calm I felt while making them. As a person who lives with anxiety and depression, a compilation of photographs to return to and intertwining the therapeutic process of photography with this form of self-care makes a difference.
